With 22 project locations across Peel, there were hundreds of volunteers coming together to create a meaningful impact in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga, while learning more about United Way of Peel Region’s investment in the community.
“Day of Caring is a chance for our donors and volunteers to provide a ‘hands-on’ project for the community, and allows us a chance to educate them further about the difference they’re making in people’s lives,” says Shelley White, CEO of United Way of Peel Region. “We couldn’t do our work without their tremendous involvement. Their work proves to everyone that together, we are possibility.”
