Acting President and CEO
Anita Stellinga began her career with United Way in 1995 and was appointed Director, Community Investment in 2000. She became the Acting President and CEO in February 2017.
She is a member of the Peel Newcomer Strategy Group, The Peel Poverty Strategy Group, Member of the 211 Advisory Group for the Region of Peel, Co-chair of the Funders Consortium, and a member of the Human Services Taskforce of the Mississauga Summit.
Anita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. She has served as a board member for the Tatry Non-Profit Housing Association, volunteered for Distress Centre of Peel, the Canadian Polish Congress and served on the school parent Council. She is currently a nationally certified Community Impact Trainer with United Way/Centraide Canada.
