General Mills employees choose to

What can a $1/day buy?

This is a question that was posed to the General Mills staff at their campaign kick-off. Some of the responses included “a cookie from Tim Horton’s, or a coffee refill from the office cafeteria”.  The team then learned that a donation of $1/day could also provide 7 infants with a one-month supply of formula, 3 homeless youth with a night of safe accommodation and counselling, or 10 new parents with access to a 10-week parenting workshop.  The General Mills team were then presented with a challenge – the 365 Challenge – to increase their donation by 6% over last year, and $1/day or $365/year.
