Chief Development Officer
Ania Kordiuk is the Chief Development Officer at the United Way of Peel Region. As a Member of the executive team, she provides strategic leadership for all fundraising revenue programs. Under her management is a diversified $12m development portfolio. Ania works with various corporate and individual stakeholders to raise funds in order to create lasting solutions that tackle poverty on many fronts.
A veteran of Toronto’s non-profit community since 1987, Ania has continuously led customer-centric fundraising, marketing communications and service teams to success.
Prior to the United Way, she was at the Royal Ontario Museum in a variety of senior roles. Ania began her involvement at the ROM by overseeing the annual giving fundraising programs and through the years, she held a number of other positions including Co-Executive Director of the ROM Foundation, VP, Marketing & Commercial Development, Director Annual Giving and VP, Visitor Relations & Commercial Services. In addition, she lead the public campaign for the museum’s capital project, Renaissance ROM.
Ania has also worked in development and marketing roles for organizations such as The Canadian Stage Company, The Canadian Opera Company and St. John Ambulance.
She sits on the AFP (Association of Professional Fundraisers) Education Committee and is a board member of Mississauga’s Legends Row.
